STRAY dogs Thelma and Louise were found wandering the streets in an poor condition this year.

However, after a short stay at Dogs Trust West London in Harefield, they have now started new lives in what is hoped are their forever homes.

Both are believed to be one-year-old Yorkshire Terrier cross Chinese Crested, and it’s likely they are sisters.

Thelma and Louise required lots of love and veterinary care for them to come out of their shells.

They were originally found with severely matted fur and were covered in scabs and crusty, dry skin.

Richard Moore, Dogs Trust Manager at Harefield, said:  “It has been fantastic watching Thelma and Louise improve, as they were in a visibly poor state when they first arrived.

“This year, some of our centre staff roles are being supported by the generous players of People’s Postcode Lottery. We want to say thank you to them.”
