THE top award for customer satisfaction at an awards ceremony this week was won by a Hillingdon team.
The borough’s local land charges team took the best-in-London award at the Local Land Charges Awards for Excellence held in Bristol.
The council was nominated by industry professionals who use its services.
Solicitors, licensed conveyancers and search agents were asked to nominate local authority teams they believe are committed to delivering a consistently high level of service.
The industry awards recognise outstanding performance, with land charges teams from 65 local authorities across the country nominated in nine categories.
Cllr Eddie Lavery, Cabinet Member for Residents' Services, said: “For them to be recognised for their professionalism, efficiency and reliability is a credit to their hard work.”
