HIRE car firm Addison Lee has become the main sponsor of Uxbridge Football Club.
The company will be the club’s shirt sponsor for both the next two football seasons.
Addison Lee, which is also a courier and black cab provider, has been operating in London for 50 years, while Uxbridge are one of the oldest clubs in England, founded in 1871.
As neighbours in West Drayton, the partnership is a good fit for both parties.
Addison Lee has its main operating centre close to Uxbridge’s Honeycroft ground in Horton Road.
Uxbridge play in the Isthmian League but begin their season this Saturday (5) in the FA Cup away to Tunbridge Wells.
The Honeycroft ground is currently being redeveloped to include a new artificial pitch, LED floodlighting and a replacement stand.
