EMPLOYEES at an Uxbridge firm selected the National Deaf Children Society to receive a grant.
As part of its annual Your Charity Your Choice scheme, Mondelez International in Sanderson Road – which makes Cadbury’s Dairy Milk and Toblerone – made a donation of £5,000 to the cause.
Each year, Mondelēz employees across the UK are invited to nominate charities or projects close to their hearts, with the wider workforce voting from a final shortlist.
The National Deaf Children’s Society supports children with differing levels of hearing loss, from mild to profound.
The donation will help it extend its services, such as the Family Sign Language courses.
Mondelez products include Cadbury’s Dairy Milk and Toblerone.
