THE country’s top chefs and restaurateurs are being invited to attend a special culinary day in Uxbridge on May 14.

The event, hosted by Woods Foodservice, which distributes produce aims to connect chefs and suppliers, featuring an appearance by Raymond Blanc.

The day will include interactive cooking demonstrations from Callebaut, Les Vergers Boiron, Sosa and the one and Blanc, chef patron of Les Manoir aux Quat Saisons.

It is taking place at the firm’s distribution centre in Riverside Way.

Raymond Blanc said: “This won’t be a standard event, so I’m thrilled to be part of it, meeting producers, sharing an insight into the ethos we share, the ingredients we use and the stories we tell through our food.”

Market Day With Woods will include a market-inspired lunch, a complimentary bar and samples to fill a goody bag.
