A GROUP of activists have been found guilty of trespass after a roof top protest at the House of Commons.
In February, five people opposed to expansion at Heathrow Airport, who are all members of Plane Stupid, unfurled banners from the roof of Parliament.
Leo Murray, Graham Thompson, Alexander George, Tamsin Omond and Olivia Chessell were found guilty of trespass at Westminster Magistrates' Court today.
Omond was handed a conditional discharge and ordered to pay £150 costs and the other four were fined £150 and also have to pay £200 costs and a £15 surcharge.
Plane Stupid has been active in demonstrating against further expansion at Heathrow Airport.
