MP for Hayes & Harlington, John McDonnell, has vowed to continue his fight for a ban on hunting.
Mr McDonnell said: "This Boxing Day saw hunts, both in my constituency and around the country, continue to flout public opinion by indulging in a cruel spectacle which reaches its bloody climax with the needless death of wildlife".
"My constituents have repeatedly told me that they want to see an end to the horrific cruelty of hunting with dogs."
"I will continue to push for the current Hunting Bill to be reintroduced and for a ban on hunting to become law so that this cruelty is stopped."
He added: "An end to hunting would be an excellent reason for me and my constituents to celebrate as we see in the New Year."
