Daniel Bachmaan made the most of a rare outing for loan club Kilmarnock as he kept a clean sheet to help secure a 1-0 win against Herts on Saturday.

The hosts had plenty of chances but found Bachmann in good form between the sticks as he made a number of important saves.

His efforts ensured Kilmarnock earned a first shut out since September and took all three points thanks to Ross Millen's strike.

Heading south of the border, Jerome Sinclair played 64 minutes as Sunderland claimed a 2-1 win over Port Vale to reach the second round of the FA Cup, with Sinclair setting up what proved to be the winner.

Dodi Lukebakio has been in good form at Fortuna Dusseldorf and once again played his part as they eased to a 4-1 win over Hertha Berlin.

Huseca remain bottom of the table having gained promotion to Spain's top flight last term, and were no match for their in-form opposition.

Cucho has still managed to impress despite his side's malaise, but Huesca remain in dire need of an upturn in form.

Obbi Oulare was in flying form for Standard Liege's Under-21 side, netting a hat-trick as he continuous his recovery from injury.

Finally, Dimitri Foulquier had to settle for a watching role as he failed to make it on in 10-man Getafe's 1-0 defeat against Valencia at the weekend.
