Stefano Okaka is being linked with a January transfer to Premier League strugglers Fulham.

Reports from Italy claim that Claudio Ranieri taking over at Craven Cottage has added to the belief that Okaka would be open to a move to London.

The pair worked together at Roma when Okaka was making his first strides at senior level.

Okaka has only just returned from an injury lay-off but remains someway down the attacking pecking order at Vicarage Road.

Troy Deeney, Isaac Success and Andre Gray are all favoured ahead of Okaka by Watford boss Javi Gracia, while Gerard Deulofeu has also been deployed in a central role.

Okaka, 29, has been linked with a move away from Watford throughout the past two transfer windows, with the striker himself refusing to pour cold water on rumours of a departure in the past.

He has played just twice this season and his solitary Premier League outing came with a late substitute outing in the 1-0 loss at Newcastle United earlier this month.

It is believed that Watford would consider a loan deal, but Gracia has repeatedly stressed that he is happy with the current make up of his squad.
