This Saturday sees volume two of The Watford Treasury on sale along Vicarage Road prior to the visit of Liverpool. Featuring 100 pages in full colour the publication is sure to please anyone with even a passing interest in Watford’s heritage and history.

Featuring interviews with Andy Porter from the 1959/60 Promotion Team and Trevor How from two decades later it's a visual treat covering all aspects of Watford's past, including content never before seen in print.

"I think anyone still to buy a copy of The Watford Treasury will be in for a very pleasant surprise”, says its editor Colin Payne.

“The feedback from volume one was unanimously positive, and I feel we've kept the standard just as high.

“People really seem to have bought into the idea, and with the full support of Watford Museum, the football club itself, and the Watford Observer we've had access to images and stories we could only have dreamt of when we initially planned this project.”

As well as the book itself, volume two also comes with Founder's Day, a 28 page illustrated story, written especially for the Watford Treasury by Olly Wicken.

For those not able to pick up a copy at the game, The Watford Treasury is also available from Watford Museum gift shop, The Hornets Shop, or via mail Order at thewatfordtreasury.co.uk
