Shane Duffy has urged Aaron Connolly to keep “banging in” the goals for Albion.
The Republic of Ireland pair are back with their club ahead of the Premier League trip to Aston Villa.
Connolly made his international debut to follow his two goals against Tottenham.
The Villa trip kicks off a batch of four league games before the next international break and Connolly has extra incentive to keep firing.
Duffy has kept a close eye on Connolly while they have been in Georgia and Switzerland.
The defender said: “We’ve got to be patient with him. It was his first start and it’s no tougher in this group than away to Switzerland, so there’s plenty more to come from him.
“Hopefully he’ll keep banging them in for Brighton now and in November, hopefully he’s still firing and ready for another big one.”
