THE Christmas ice rink will return to Uxbridge Civic Centre on November 30 – with tickets frozen at last year’s prices.
It will be open daily from 10am to 8pm through to January 1 but closed on Christmas Day.
The last session is one hour before closing and skaters are advised to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of their session, to allow sufficient time to be fitted with skates.
Skate and penguin hire is included with the cost of the ticket, with stabilisers and support available for small children on the ice.
Adults: £5 (off peak), £7 (peak)
Children and concession tickets: £3.50 (off peak) and £5.50 (peak)
Family tickets: £14 (off peak) and £20 (peak).
Off-peak times are Monday to Friday, 10am to 3pm, not including Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
Discounts for uniformed groups and ‘set fee’ sessions for schools will also be available. Festive music will be played over the sound system for skaters to enjoy during their session.
More than 17,000 visitors enjoyed skating at the ice rink in Uxbridge last year, organised by Hillingdon Council.
Booking opens on November 21. To book visit www.hillingdon.gov.uk/icerink or call 01895 558347.
