A POP-UP village will be created in Hillingdon tomorrow (Saturday) by mental heath charity Hillingdon Mind, as part of the national campaign Time to Change.
Uxbridge High Street host the event, which will include a post office, tea shop and cinema.
The aim is to get people who don’t suffer from mental health issues talking to those who do.
A Time to Change spokesman said: “By entertaining and engaging people, we expect they will learn something new and feel less afraid of having more open conversations about mental health.”
The village is organised by Alice Whittaker, an occupational therapy student at Brunel University, with the support of fellow Brunel students Belinda Bovenkamp and Umoh Ekang.
The village will be open from noon till 6.30 and admission is free.
