BETH ROGERS, from Liquid in Uxbridge, is celebrating after the UK’s largest nightclub operator crowned her its General Manager of the Year for the region.

The Deltic Group (formerly The Luminar Group), which operates 58 nightclubs and bars, recognised its brightest stars at its annual awards ceremony at Alton Towers.

Beth, 31, general manager at Liquid Uxbridge, was honoured for her outstanding contribution to the success of the club.

She has worked at the venue for 18 months after starting her career as a member of the promotions team at Batchwood Hall night club in St Albans.

Her successes at Liquid include building positive relationships and community partnerships with the police and Brunel University.

She said: “When I joined Liquid, it was in a good place. However, we have built on current relationships to ensure we are doing the best we can.

“The best part of my job is seeing our customers having a great time. I never believed, after being promoted to general manager, that I would win an award in such a short time. I’m very thankful to the people that believed in me.”

Liquid is Uxbridge’s largest nightclub, employing around 50 local people and regularly attracting 11,500 customers through its doors every month.
