MORE than £372,681 of National Lottery funding was invested in Hillingdon in 2017, new figures show.

Ten Lottery grants were awarded in the borough last year, providing a boost to arts, sports and heritage projects alongside community groups helping those in need.

Projects included:

·         £9,997 to St Matthew’s C of E Primary School, West Drayton, to instal an outdoor gym area

·         £9,880 to DASH, to build the reach of an organisation that supports people with disabilities.

From today, any organisation that has ever received National Lottery funding can enter the National Lottery Awards 2018, the annual search for the UK’s favourite Lottery-funded projects.
