PROSPECTIVE students are invited to the open evening at Heathrow Aviation Engineering UTC in Northwood on Wednesday, February 21, from 5.30pm.
Visitors will be able to tour the college with current students and hear about its distinctive, workplace-style environment and the way it prepares future engineers, scientists and technicians for a career.
Principal Wayne Edwards said: “I encourage anyone aspiring to a career in engineering to come along to learn more about the opportunities available.”

Heathrow UTC in Potter Street has launched a project for students to build their own plane. Visitors can see how it is progressing and how, as a student, they could get involved themselves.
Potential employers who will be attending include Heathrow Airport, the Royal Air Force, the Royal Navy, Brunel University and Morgan Sindell.
Book a place at the open evening on Wednesday, February 21. The principal’s talk will take place at 6.30pm.
