Neighbours are frustrated they have been left without water 10 times in the space of three months.
People living in Grove Crescent, Croxley, were alarmed to discover their water supply had stopped working in their homes on Monday but no alternative supply has been offered
Clare Parnacott, who lives in the street, says it is a health and safety issue that families and elderly people now have to shower and fill containers in their home to keep clean, as well as buying countless supplies of drinking water.
She is “stressed” that Affinity water are doing “absolutely nothing” to help, including providing emergency water trucks.
The 60-year-old said: “Yet again we are without water and it is not good enough.
“It has been happening so often and there have been 10 separate incidents since February 22.
“We were once left without water for 16 days and do not want it to happen again.”
Mrs Parnacott is also concerned about the weather getting warmer as she fears people will not be able to stay hydrated properly or keeping cool with a refreshing wash.
She said: “Keeping clean is a priority as you risk having germs spreading if you cannot flush the toilet or wash your hands.
“The weather is getting hot now and so we have to drink a lot more water to stay in good health.
“The way to resolve this is to send out water trucks but absolutely nothing is being done. We just need someone to help us.”
