YEAR 11 students at UTC Heathrow in Northwood Hills are celebrating after receiving their GCSE results.
The University Technical College, specialising in Engineering and IT, offers a strong technical education alongside GCSEs in a workplace-style environment.
The students’ hard work resulted in:
Level 2 GCSE Basics 4+ of 71%
Level 2 GCSE Basics 5+ of 34%
Level 2 GCSE Basics 7+ of 3%
Executive Principal Wayne Edwards said: “This is a great set of results considering the last two years of their education and the impact of COVID 19.”
Our picture shows Max Kotlarz got a 9 in Maths, an 8 in Physics and a 7 in English Language.
He will be returning to study Computer Science, Maths and Physics in the sixth form and is planning on being a software engineer.
