ROYAL Brompton and Harefield Hospitals Charity has received a £2,500 donation from Bellway North London.
The Ruislip-based division of the national housebuilder decided to support the charity after being awarded £5,000 by Bellway group to give to deserving causes.
Shooting Star, which has hospices in Guildford and Hampton, will receive the other £2,500.
Sallinder Rai, Community and Events Fundraising Manager for the charity, said: “The donation will go towards sponsoring the medals handed out after our annual Harefield Fun Run on September 4. We are expecting between 700 and 800 runners.”
Greg Allsop, Sales and Marketing Director at Bellway North London, said: “Harefield Hospital is located just four miles from our offices in Ruislip. We are well aware of the amazing and pioneering work they do there and, because of its proximity, we feel a special affinity with them.
