A MAN will appear in court this morning (3) following the murder of a woman in Hayes.
Sheldon Rodrigues, 29, of Willenhall Drive, Hayes will be in custody at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, 3 January charged with the murder of 39-year-old Stephanie Hansen.
Rodrigues was arrested after officers were called to her home on Saturday.
Stephanie was found dead inside with stab injuries.
Det Chief Insp Neil John said: “I know this incident will have shocked people in the community.
“I am confident we are not looking for any further suspects and there is no continuing risk to the wider public.
“We are appealing for anyone who lives or was driving in the vicinity of Willenhall Drive to come forward, if they have CCTV or dash cams, between the morning of Friday, December 30, and the following morning.”
