STEVE Harley has announced a set of spring and summer live dates with his Acoustic Band, including an appearance at the Beck Theatre, Hayes.
Having recently celebrated the 50th anniversary of Cockney Rebel, he continues to play to sold-out venues across the UK and Europe.
The Times wrote, in a profile marking this half-century, that signature hit Make Me Smile (Come Up And See Me), remained one of the most best-loved songs of the modern age.
“I still get a buzz when boarding the tour bus, like I did all those years ago,” he said. “There’s still that magical feeling. It has not diminished at all.”
The acoustic sets will include songs from the extensive Harley songbook. Mr Soft, Judy Teen, Sebastian and Make Me Smile will all be performed.
