A DIGITAL parking payment system has been launched across Hillingdon.
Residents and visitors can now pay for their parking on the go using their phone or online, rather than having to buy a ticket from a machine.
The system went live across the borough today (31).
People in Hillingdon should download the PayByPhone app and register, making sure they link their HillingdonFirst card, to still get the residents’ discount.
Those in a hurry can pay from their car and jump on a train, without having to visit a machine to buy a ticket, then go back and display it in the car.
They can extend the session via PayByPhone without having to return to the car.
If people’s preference is still to use a bank card or coins, ticket machines still take traditional payment methods.
