YOUR household utility bills could be lowered by up £160 under a new London-wide scheme designed to improve energy efficiency and lower carbon emissions.
People over 70 and those receiving income-related benefits will also be eligible for free wall and loft insulation under the RE:NEW scheme.
Green Doctors will visit 1,600 homes across Hillingdon to tell people how to lower their bills and advise on a range of free energy- and water-saving devices that can be installed.
The free home energy visits are being offered to people in Charville and Hillingdon East, but others can be allocated visits with recommendations from agencies such as Age UK and Citizens’ Advice Bureau.
Call 0300 365 3005 for more details on the Mayor of London-funded scheme, which is expected to run until the end of March.
