FREE fitness sessions are being offered to people with physical or learning disabilities at Hillingdon Sport and Leisure Complex.
Instructor Kimberly will take 45- and 90-minute sessions from 5.30-9.30pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, and also on Sundays after Christmas.
Kimberly said: “I have an impairment myself, so I know about some of the challenges people face when they think about joining a gym.”
She is on a placement at the complex as part of the Instructability scheme, which has enabled her to complete a YMCA Level 2 fitness instructor qualification.
Those eligible for free sessions must be aged between 16 and 25, disabled, free from any medical conditions affected by exercise and able to commit to one session per week for six consecutive weeks.
Contact Hillingdon Sport and Leisure Complex on 0845 1307324 to book the sessions.
