THE cash-strapped company that owns an Uxbridge nightclub was bought by three leisure industry specialists on Friday.
The deal is expected to save 3,000 jobs at 66 UK nightclubs, including Liquid in the High Street.
Liquid may also be given a facelift, as buyers Peter Marks, Alex Geffert and Joe Heanen said they had plans to refresh many of the venues over the next two years.
Milton Keynes-based Luminar Ltd went into administration last month after reporting losses of £198 million. Nine of their 75 clubs were forced to close in places such as Brighton, Northampton and Swindon. Mr Marks is a former executive of Luminar, while Mr Geffert and Mr Heanen are also former executives and owners of a number of UK nightclubs.
