London 2012 rounded off in Ruislip park
TEAM GB’s Olympic success is to be celebrated with musical entertainment at Shenley Park, Ruislip Manor, one of hundreds of simultaneous outdoor performances across the UK.
The Bandstand Marathon is recognised by LOCOG as the biggest community event of the London 2012 Festival closing celebration.
The Ruislip Manor line-up includes a swing band, a Motown and soul group, plus folk music. Locally-known Sean Barber, and Mark Collins, an acoustic duo known as Two Little Boys, will also be
performing.
Sean said: “We can't wait to play this gig! We've been doing our very best to show off what Ruislip has to offer and can't wait to show everyone here what Two Little Boys are about.”
The free event takes place on September 9, 1-6pm (gates open at midday).
