A GOLF coaching programme new to Hayes is on course to introduce more women to the sport from next month.
The love.golf experience at Stockley Park Golf Club is just for women and will focus on playing the game as a group, rather than simply hitting balls on a practice range.
PGA Golf Professional Andrew Turner said love.golf would transform the game’s outdated image and welcome a new generation of female golfers when it starts on September 6.
“The great thing is that it provides an environment for women to discover, learn and improve skills,” he said.
“Customers frequently say they are surprised at their achievements and the sense of self-confidence and empowerment that comes with this.
“It is ideal for new golfers. All the equipment is provided, you can wear jeans and trainers and you don’t have to be a club member, or even have played before.
“It’s relaxed, welcoming and probably not at all what you think golf is like.”
The love.golf programme costs £95 per person for six weekly sessions with Mr Turner at Stockley Park Golf Club.
The group is encouraged to play and practice together between coaching sessions.
