BUILD-A-BEAR WORKSHOP has been revealed as Uxbridge shoppers’ top shop this autumn, as revealed at intu Uxbridge’s Retailer Awards 2016 last week.

The children’s toy retailer came out tops with shoppers at the centre, winning awards for Best Customer Service and ‘Shop I Love The Most’, both solely voted for by customers at intu Uxbridge.

Tish Roberts, manager at Build-a-Bear Workshop, said “Winning two awards this year was amazing, we love our customers and now we know they love us back!”

Both Wagamama and Next also took home two awards each on the night, with Wagamama being awarded for the Best Engagement with the Community and Best Marketing Initiative, and Next coming out top as the Greenest Retailer and Operational Retailer of the Year.

Shoppers at intu Uxbridge also voted Starbucks as the most welcoming cafe/restaurant, while Boots won Overall Retailer of the Year.

Other awards on the night went to Monsoon for the Best Window Display, Debenhams for Best Merchandise and Boots for the Best Store Manager Rajan Guru.

“Our annual awards reward the hard work our fantastic retailers put in all year round, as well as let our shoppers have their say on the shops with the Best Customer Service, Most Welcoming cafe/restaurant and ‘Shop I Love The Most’.

The awards ceremony and celebration for stores in-centre was held at the Slug & Lettuce at intu Uxbridge last week, revealing the winners on the night.

The evening was zoo-themed, with animal face painting, cocktails on arrival and much more for staff from across stores in-centre.
