Hillingdon Council received a record high of 3,416 applications for secondary school places as every child received an offer for a secondary place.
Admissions results for schools were released on Wednesday, and 94.9 per cent of Hillingdon pupils have received one of their preferred choices.
67.4 per cent of pupils were allocated their first choice of secondary school, despite an above-London average increase in applications for places.
Councillor David Simmonds, Cabinet Member for Education and Children's Services said: “Moving on to secondary school is a big step, and we’re delighted that so many of our local children received their preferred choice of school.
"To meet the needs of a growing population and a higher demand for school places, the council is investing £273 million into our school expansions programme, which is one of the largest in London."
There was also a rise in the number of children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) applying to mainstream secondary schools.
