AN extra 100 jobs will be created in the next six months as a Hillingdon firm looks to meet a shift in demand towards care at home.
Bluebird Care Hillingdon is launching a recruitment campaign to employ more people as winter sets in.
It says there has been a real shift in people choosing care at home rather than residential care.
It has developed and launched a new Staff Guide App, to support care assistants out in the community, giving them instant access to information they need about the people they look after.
Bluebird also has a PASSsystem, allowing care teams instant access to customer care plans, and OpenPASS, an app providing verified customers and family members access to those plans.
Alvin Osei-Tutu, Director of Bluebird Care Hillingdon, said: “With an obvious shift in people living longer and more individuals wanting to remain in their own home, it is important we are well equipped to continue to deliver the high-quality care that is expected.”
Bluebird will be promoting their range of job opportunities on social media and at recruitment fairs and community events throughout the winter.
