FOR the eighth year-running, Northwood-based Michael Sobell Hospice’s biggest fund-raiser of the year, Ladies in the Night Walk, is back with a carnival theme on Friday, June 15 at 10pm.

There will also be a new 10-mile route or the popular 5.5 mile challenge.

Throughout January, anyone interested in signing up for either distance can claim an early bird offer of £15, instead of £25.

There will also be a February offer of £20 per person for groups of 10 or more.

Registration includes a T-shirt, fund-raising pack, souvenir medal, refreshments and breakfast on completion of the challenge.

Sobell Community Fund-raiser Vanessa Howden-Smith said: “Last year, 850 walkers raised nearly £90,000 – simply incredible!  This year we would love to beat this figure.
