THE Michael Sobell Hospice charity shop in Field End Road, Eastcote, was raided early Friday morning and robbed of more than £600.
A volunteer arrived around 9am to find the back door wide open, the lock smashed in and money that had been left overnight in the safe gone.
“It saddens me to think someone would steal money from a charity which raises money to help, support and care for those people who need our services in their time of need, towards end of life,” said Victoria Mansell, MSH retail manager.

“Please, if anyone has information about this incident, contact the police.”
Michael Sobell provides essential palliative care for people and their families across Hillingdon and parts of Bucks and Herts.
The charity needs to raise more than £1.6m each year to fund services, including a 16-bed in-patient unit and day centre.
