People's Choice Award winner set to be announced

Contender: play area scheme proposed by Friends of Shenley Park
THE winner of the Hillingdon People’s Choice Award will soon be revealed.
The Feel PROUD Campaign, which celebrates the borough, introduced the award to allow residents to vote for community projects.
The winner’s chosen project receive the £50,000 prize, from funding programme Chrysalis.
The five nominated improvement plans include fencing around the play area in Pine Gardens; path improvements across Ickenham Marshes; improvements to the play area in Shenley Park; gym equipment
for Stonefield Park and CCTV and fencing for Acorn Youth Centre.
