An exhibition of original works by students of art, graphic design, fashion, and games development is being held at Uxbridge Library.

The ‘Creating Futures’ show includes a range of creative and technical pieces by students on courses ranging from Level 1 to the foundation year.

The show includes paintings, abstract printworks, graphic design pieces, images of 3D computer generated objects, and photography from the final year fashion show along with the creative workings behind the outfit.

Jill Tattersall, Art and Design Lecturer, said: “This exhibition is a fantastic opportunity to see what diverse and professional work Uxbridge College students can produce.

“The pieces on show illustrate some of the many ways in which students are applying high level technical skills to express their unique and original ideas.”

Students of the creative arts at college may progress to university or use their skills to work in a range of technical and creative roles in industry.

* The exhibition runs from 9-22nd November at Uxbridge Library in High Street, Uxbridge, during normal library opening hours.
