THE third annual Jo Cox Way bike ride, in memory of the murdered Labour MP, will pause overnight in Uxbridge on Saturday, July 28.

It passes through Bucks and Middlesex during the fourth and fifth stages of its 282-mile journey from her West Yorkshire constituency to London.

For the first time, Jo’s sister, Kim Leadbeater, will be cycling the entire route of the five-day ride, designed to highlight the resilience of communities struck by acts of terror.

The group of amateur cyclists will arrive at Brunel University, Uxbridge, for an overnight stop.

Next morning, they will pass through Yiewsley, West Drayton and the Heathrow Village on their way to London.

People are invited to go along and show support by cheering them on their way – or by pedalling alongside for a while.
